Fakulti Pendidikan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia jajaki kerjasama program S3 dengan UNP

Prof. Dr. Nor Aishah Buang, Pembantu dekan Fakulti Pendidikan Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), beserta Dr. Moh. Taib Harun, dan Dr. Norlena Salamuddin, berkunjung ke Universitas Negeri Padang untuk menjajaki kerjasama Program S3 dengan Universitas Negeri Padang. Rombongan UKM ini disambut Pembantu Rektor IV Bidang Kerjasama dan Pemberdayaan Aset Dr. Ardipal, M.Pd. di Rektorat UNP yang didampingi oleh Pembantu Rektor I UNP Bidang Akademik Prof. Dr. Agus Irianto, dan Pembantu Rektor III Bidang Kemahasiswaan Dr. Syahrial Bahtiar.

A Lecturer From QUT Australia, Dr. David Nutchey, visited UNP

Dr. David Nuthcey a lecturer of Faculty of Education of Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane Australia visited Padang State University (8/2). He met Dr. Ardipal, M.Pd., Vice Rector IV (Cooperation and Asset Affairs) of State University of Padang, to discuss about the possibility to build mutual cooperation between Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Padang State University (UNP).

The meeting is also attended by Prof. Hermawati Syarif, M.Hum (Head of International Office of UNP), Prof. Dr. Ahmad Fauzan, M.Sc. Afriva Khaidir, MAPA., Ph.D. Drs. Amril Amir, M.Pd. and Havid Ardi, S.Pd., M.Hum. at Rector Meeting Room of Padang State University.

After conducting meeting, Dr. Nuthey also has studium general at Mathematics Department of FMIPA UNP. Dr. Ardipal, M.Pd. hopes that UNP and QUT can have mutual cooperation to build the capacity for both universities in academic, research, and staff.

9 Students of Deakin University Studied in UNP

Nine students from Deakin University had finished their visit in UNP. These students stayed in Padang for one and half months to study bahasa Indonesia at Bahasa Indonesia Department of Faculty of Languages and Arts UNP. Beside studying bahasa Indonesia, they also learned some Minangkabau culture, such as, cooking traditional food, traditional dance, traditional games.
This program was coordinated by Dra. Emidar, M.Pd. (former chairperson of Indonesian Department). These students also had chance to visit some beautiful and historical places in West Sumatra. Here some of their activities.
